11:11 The Practice” is a music driven power vinyasa flow that combines 11 primary poses, 4 cardio bursts and 7 chakra clearing movement using palindrome sequencing. High energy, and sure to make you sweat and feel blissful.
bACK cARE yOGA WITH bRYNN
Back Care Yoga is a therapeutic class designed to address the root causes of back pain through proper body alignment. Each class focuses on a different region of the back and the anatomical and physiological factors that may be contributing to pain or discomfort. Overarching themes of the class include core, leg, and mid-back strengthening, balance, increasing flexibility in tight areas, and joint stabilization. This class may be ideal for people with general back or neck pain, scoliosis, spinal fusions, sacroiliac dysfunction, herniated or bulging discs, sciatica, and spinal stenosis. This class is geared toward beginning students, but all levels of practice are welcome!

While classes are drop-in, classes are structured to have a focus that lasts for two months. Upcoming class focuses:
January - Look Sharp! Technique Drills for Dancing with a Sword
For both technique and choreography classes, Leah included a warm up and review of prior week material. During technique sessions, she will drilling the basics, and use short combinations to help integrate movements with muscle memory. In choreography sessions, we'll learn the technique that is required to dance the piece through drills, and learn the choreography piece by piece. All choreography's have performance opportunities, which are optional.
CHAIR STRETCH 1 WITH Frank
This class is wonderful for anyone who thinks they "can't do yoga". Good beginning to gain range of motion, stretching, strengthening (using light weights for osteoporosis prevention), and balance using a chair to support these poses. No floorwork.
cHAIR STRETCH 2 WITH sTERLING
This class is a good way to advance from, or add to, Chair Stretch 1 practice. Good class to improve balance, stretching, and strengthening postures to increase longevity. No floorwork.
exercise FOR Parkinson's disease WITH sTERLING
This class is designed to support movement, flexibility, create muscle memory, strengthen balance, and provide a community of "like moving" people to share the experience of aging with PD.
Class not limited to PD - We've had people in class with MS, CIDP-GBS, dementia, or any nervous system disorder.
FLOOR STRETCH WITH STERLING or Frank
This class gives all the benefits of stretching and strengthening from the floor. This is a great way to create length in the body using the floor without getting up and down (we get down once and up at the end).
GENTLE YOGA WITH RESTORATIVE WITH nICOLE or Brynn
Gentle yoga classes incorporate safe alignment, gentle movement/postures and calming breath work, concluding with a 15-20 restorative yoga posture. Most classes begin with an element of self-massage and progress through a series of movements that are often accompanied by the use of props. This class is appropriate for those managing an injury or illness, less mobility, beginning students, and those looking for a softer, less vigorous practice.
GUIDED MEDITATION with Frank
This is a FREE Guided Meditation that is held weekly to encourage the quieting of the mind and we practice and practice and practice! Join us anytime, always a good time to start.
kARMA yin yOGA WITH Laura
During Yin Yoga, we focus on the fascia (the connective tissue of the body), and also the smaller muscle groups. Students will move through seated twists, seated forward folds, and some hip & spine work on the back. Although a much more gentle form of yoga asana, students are encouraged to remain present while holding each pose for an extended period of time (five-to-eight minutes per pose).
This class is a donation class, with a suggested donation of $5.

Karma “what comes around goes around”. This class is our way of making sure Yoga is accessible for everyone by offering a pay-what-you-can class. We believe everyone wants to feel good and there are tremendous benefits from yoga. Everyone is welcome!

RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH STERLING OR NICOLE
This class uses various props like blankets, bolsters, belts, blocks, sand bags, and more to create a pose that supports the body in learning how to relax. As research shows, constant stress creates dis-ease in the body, so practice with us each week to educate the nervous system to support our body and mind for longevity.
Restorative yoga is known to aid in comfort for conditions ranging from sleeplessness, headaches, and depression to pregnancy, recovery from childbirth, minor injuries, and life changing events. This practice is suitable for all ages.
SLOW FLOW YOGA WITH SARAH
This class emphasizes poses that are connected through slow movements that are coordinated with your breath using movements that are linked together like, but not limited to, Sun or Moon Salutations.
THERAPEUTIC YOGA WITH STERLING
This class allows the students to decide what the focus of our practice will be. The students decide on a topic; such as balance, achy lower back, knees or hips, tight neck and shoulders, etc - then the teacher builds a sequence of poses that will be beneficial to the area discussed. Class will have detailed instruction, demos, props, and possible partner work. We will review anatomy and modifications so everyone can use and feel the effects of yoga for better health and longevity.
Yoga for Teens with Peace Kids
This class for young people teaches confidence, mindfulness, strength and flexibility through breath awareness, yoga postures, flowing sequences, interactive games and guided meditation. The bodies and minds of teenagers are constantly shifting and growing. Yoga offers incredible tools to help still and focus the mind, quiet the emotions and energize the body. The class will consist of 45 minutes of breathing practices, movement and activity, followed by 10-15 minutes of relaxation and meditation.
yOGA lEVEL 1 WITH STERLING, fRANK, NICOLE, or Beth
This class will focus on the fundamentals of yoga postures while learning basic anatomy through detailed instructions. Great class for students just starting, restarting their practice, or for students who want to relearn poses.
Yoga Level 2 with sTERLING or frank
This class will encourage students to discover their level of practice, through directions that provide options for the poses. Standing poses and beginning inversions are introduced.
yOGA lEVEL 3 WITH STERLING
This class is for students who have a continual disciplined practice and are prepared for a deep level of instruction. Must be comfortable holding standing poses and inversions (Headstand/Sirsasana 3-5 minutes).
