Weylin Gomez, LMT & CPT
Licensed Massage Therapist & Certified Personal Trainer
Weylin Gomez holds both a license in Personal Training and Massage Therapy. Growing up he trained as a martial artist for 10 years, which set the foundation for a lifelong love of movement and exercise. He went on to pursue amateur bodybuilding in high-school and professional dance in college. In 2016 Weylin suffered a serious injury to his back while performing with the internationally recognized dance company "Diavolo". This Injury set in motion a 2 year long recovery process that eventually lead to the founding of Aequilibris in 2019.
"When I was injured it felt like I would never recover. I thought that I would just have to live with being in pain for the rest of my life. During my recovery I was very fortunate to meet and work with some amazing therapists. I'm not sure I would have been able to make a full recovery had it not been for all of the caring, knowledgeable, and skilled individuals I worked with. These encounters set me on the path of wanting to "pay it forward". My greatest hope is to be able to be a part of my client's journey of healing, and to help empower them to heal themselves through the understanding of the human body."

A Swedish Massage is a hands-on therapeutic approach to relax and release tension from overworked and tired muscles. If you are someone who has not had a massage or does not get them often, this is a great massage!
Myofascial Release Therapy is a highly specialized fascia stretching technique intended for myofascial pain syndrome. It will relieve you from tension, pain and discomfort, relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulate the stretch reflex in the muscle. Myofascial Release is a gentle healing massage, that creates space within the body for healing to occur naturally. Using sustained light pressure to melt the layers of fascia that envelope and penetrate muscles and organs, then moving into longer deep strokes that help to “iron” out any “knots” in the tissues.
Neuromuscular therapy is a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems. This medically-oriented form of massage addresses trigger points (tender muscles points), circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries.
Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a a method of stretching muscles to maximize their flexibility that is often performed with a partner or trainer and that involves a series of contractions and relaxations with enforced stretching during the relaxation phase.
